Our Moon

OUr Moon’s CHARITY BALL: Thursday 27 February 2020

We raised the roof! Our fundraising ball raised £11,000. The money will go towards our learning forum in Zambia – literally for the walls and roof.

The ball was a great success and surpassed all our expectations. The raffle alone raised £1,400 and the auction raised a further £6,510 – this was down to the kindness and generosity of so many donors and guests.

The speech from Natasha Kaoma and the interview by Ali Hollands, Our MC for the evening, of Quincy Namonje and Janet Botha, two of our alumnae studying at University of Edinburgh, set the scene for the work that Our Moon does.

Special thanks to Marie Williams, for her superb organisation skills, Rob Curd, our photographer for the evening, Tim Cullen of Mint DJs and members of Network B2B Kent for their work and support of the ball both before and during the event.
