Question: Since becoming a second year Our Moon student, what’s a summary of your activities, including the internship you’ve taken on?

I have been actively engaged in various activities to further my personal and professional growth. I have been informing school-goers about Our Moon and sharing my experiences with them. Additionally, I have been teaching my siblings how to write and effectively use electronic devices such as Laptops and Smartphones, helping them enhance their digital literacy skills.

On the sports front, I have been actively participating in basketball and gymnastics, honing my skills, and staying physically fit. In terms of academics and career development, I have been conducting research in my field of interest, which is entrepreneurship, business, and finance. This research has allowed me to deepen my understanding of these subjects and stay updated on the latest trends and developments.

One of the most valuable experiences during this time has been my internship as an auditor at KPMG, one of the world’s leading accounting firms. This internship has provided me with invaluable hands-on experience in the field of auditing, allowing me to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios. It has been a challenging yet rewarding experience that has helped me develop new skills and gain practical insights into the world of finance and accounting.

Overall, my post-Our Moon journey has been filled with learning, growth, and exciting opportunities that have further fuelled my passion for education, sports, entrepreneurship, and personal development.

Question: How have your perspectives and aspirations evolved over the last few months?

One of the most profound changes in my perspective has been in how I view education and learning. My time at Our Moon instilled in me a deep appreciation for the value of education and the doors it can open. This realization has motivated me to not only continue my academic pursuits but also to share my knowledge and experiences with others, particularly younger students and my siblings. Teaching them about Our Moon and helping them develop their skills has been incredibly fulfilling and has reinforced my belief in the transformative power of education.

Furthermore, my internship at KPMG has provided me with a first-hand glimpse into the world of finance and accounting, exposing me to the intricacies of auditing and financial analysis. This experience has broadened my horizons and sparked a newfound interest in the field of finance and entrepreneurship. I have come to appreciate the importance of financial literacy and strategic planning in achieving long-term success, and I aspire to pursue a career in these areas in the future.

On a personal level my involvement in sports, has taught me the value of discipline, teamwork, and perseverance. Through hours of practice and training, I have learned to push past my limits, overcome challenges, and work collaboratively with others towards a common goal. These lessons have not only improved my athletic abilities but have also translated into other aspects of my life, instilling in me a strong work ethic and a resilient mindset.

This resilience has carried over into my internship at KPMG, where I have faced complex auditing tasks that initially seemed overwhelming. Through determination and hard work, I have been able to tackle these challenges head-on and excel in my role.

Additionally, I have discovered the importance of adaptability and open-mindedness.
